Messiahship of Yeshua (Jesus)

From the beginning, the Tanach (Hebrew Scriptures) promised a Messiah (Gen. 3:15), a Savior for both Jews and Gentiles. (Isa. 49:6) The Tanach reveals over 65 distinctives of the Messiah. He would be from the tribe of Judah (Micah 5:2), the family of David (Jer. 23:5-6), and born of a virgin (Isa. 7:14). He would suffer and die (Isa. 52:13-15) as an atoning sacrifice prior to the destruction of the Temple by the Romans in AD/CE 70 (Dan. 9:24-26). He would be resurrected (Ps. 16-10)

The Brit-Chadasha (New Testament) reveals Yeshua’s fulfillment of all of these prophecies. He WAS from the tribe of Judah, the family of David (Matt 1:1-2), and born of a virgin (Matt. 1:23). He DID suffer and die (Matt. 27:32-56) as an atoning sacrifice prior to the destruction of the Temple in AD/CE 70. He WAS resurrected, thus providing salvation for both Jew and Gentile (Matt. 28:1-20).
Messiah Yeshua’s gift of salvation is free to those who turn from their sins, place their faith in His sacrifice, and believe that G-d raised Him from the dead.
